Where's the "collaborative" aspect of your post?

Why would anyone want to waste their time with someone who:

1. Can't take the time to use correct punctuation.
2. Has included almost no info on what they need done.
3. Posts in the "collaborative" forum when really they're just trying to hire someone for free.

I think the partnership comes in with him working with whoever accepts the offer to join him in this task. Two or more people is a partnership

Now defining the terms of a partnership is a different issue all together and I think this is what you are asking

@James, take note of how he outlined his project. He has told the potential coders what he needs without giving away what it is. In addition; I know what you mean in relation to partnership. But where the coder is going to do all of the work, before the project can make a dime, who is going to feed him if/while he (the coder), takes that risk? Can you really go to a builder and say you need an office and that you will pay him for it when you business in that office makes money?

Anyway, it just sound like a shopping cart to me with a couple of add-ons. Nothing that a (good) coder doesn't know about and really doesn't need a dependent partner onboard with them.

So, as Fumigator already asked...what do you bring to the table?

Actually I think this looks more like a CMS + Shopping Cart for multiple people, not just this guy. Looks to me like he wants to let other people sign up and basically be able to use this page. Or is he just using "they" incorrectly and only meaning "himself"?
