Apache really slow on local server

Hi,

I have Apache installed on my laptop, it takes like 2-3 seconds for each page to load, but I think it should be less than a second as its a local server.

I am using 2087 port for my apache, any possibility this could be the problem?

If you suspect it's the port, then try another one like 80 or 8000.
Your server logs might also give you clues.
