Ok, so from an earlier thread, you can tell that I know absolutely NOTHING about ASP. These days, if you're involved with website creation, you NEED ASP.
Here's my background:
I'm mainly a designer.
I know Photoshop very well.
I know HTML very well.
I know Flash well.
I know Director well.
I know the basics of JavaScript (I know variables, functions, basic if - else statements)
I'm a dummy! Do anybody have any suggestions on how to go about learning ASP? The easier, the better!
Thanks.
I don't believe this.

The easier the better? Well, just let someone code it for you. I'm sure you can find coders that will write your stuff for just a few bucks or pro bono or in return for some designer work. But you'll never learn it that way and you'll always have to come looking for help and never get a firm and coherent knowledge about asp (which will cost you way more time in the long run, then just spend a few hours or maybe a day in learning some ASP basics now.) + it will restrict your creative work.
If you want to learn asp and need some tutorials, then check out whammy's link or just run a search in this forum or on google or whatever. I once saw asp-training video's (not free) where you just had to sit and watch, so maybe that is even easier, but i doubt it'll be faster or better then a 50 pages tutorial.

For a good start, I'd actually buy a book - Beginning ASP 3.0 by Wrox.com.
Of course, the online resources help a lot too, but there's nothing like a beginner's book to really introduce you to what's going on. I learned from that book originally, as did many people I know...
