Automatic/schedule to shutdown fedora

I want to ask how to shutdown automatically in fedora.
Perhaps someone answer my question, i'm getting tired to shutdown my fileserver in routine everyday :(

You could use a cron job to do it and just have one command: poweroff. Have you done anything with cron before?

But it will shut it off regardless of if anyone is using the machine.

Assuming your purpose for shutting down the fileserver is to make your filesharing unavailable during specific times then why don't you just shut down those services with the cron job instead of shutting down the machine?

Hm i just need to shut down the machine, i know with the cron but what is the command for it for specifically date, month and time for shut it down.

@Spookster: I have 10 fileserver but the one is the oldest among the others fileserver machine better i shut this one before the machine is broken xD

Shut it down before it is broken? Why is the machine going to break if you don't shut it down everyday? That doesn't make any sense.

because the cooler fan sometimes not worked. The fan is crappy I'm already changed 2 times every 3 days ~_~ that's why i wont make it broken the motherboard cause the temperature is too high.

For the short term, you can use cron. If you google around you can find tutorials on the crontab file.

For the long term, don't buy cheap cooling fans.

I know for that zzz i wanted to know the comands like every friday on 4am shutdown i want that as cron comand.
