I have a website that users can go to, fill out a request for quote and it sends to all major suppliers.

I want an email to go out to the suppliers with details of the quote, but no contact information. I want it to contain a PayPal link, that will allow the company to pay 5 or 10 cents to view the full details of the quote, thus containing the contact information of the individual.

I want it to be automated so that upon paying, they receive the hidden / pending information.

Is this possible / what route should I take?

I'm pretty well rounded in PHP, and have a little PayPal experience.

Just thinking more....

What if each quote that game in got stored in the database with an ID... then upon completing payments, the buyers get redirected to a page which pulls up the quote ID... I can pass a variable through all the payments right?

Paypal charges 30 cents for each transaction right off the top so you'll have to charge at least 31 cents to make any money at all.

It may be more feasible to sell quotes in batches of 10 or 20-- this is dependant on how many quotes roll in though.

Anyway, the way I'd do it is with a database. Store the quote, store the user, store a cross-reference between the two. Send the quote's unique id along with the Paypal payment submittal which will then get stored in the Paypal transaction. Then catch the IPN that comes back to you and use that quote ID to update your database to allow that user access to that quote.
