Hello!
As I'm unfortunately forced to write a term paper about code snippets platforms on the internet and don't have any clue how to accumulate 50 pages on this topic I hope to find some hints and advice here from people who might have more experience with the use of code snippets.
I have never used them myself and hadn't even known such platforms exist, so obviously it's quite difficult now to write a good term paper about it. I also couldn't find any books or usefull online sources which would help me. As you certainly know it's rather difficult to write even a half-decent term paper without the use of some literature. Therefore I hope someone here knows a few books or online sources which I could use.
Depending on which topics I find information to, I can more focus on whether it makes sense to use code snippets, how should such code snippets plattforms look like to provide maximum useability, legal consequences by using code snippets or publishing them, etc.
So I'd be very grateful for any help, hints and advices I can get, especially given that at my university I hadn't found any help at all yet.
