Hey guys, I'm looking for a service with an API, that I can integrate with my site.

I have plans for an "leaving website" page on my site, but they're alot of posts and links of Rick Rolls, and those disgusting freak sites. It'd be nice to have a script where it'll check the link they clicked with a huge list of blacklisted sites, to warn users the page that they're visiting.

Sorry if it sounds confusing, you can ask if you need more info.
Is there any service of the sort?

So, your website has links on it that you want to warn your visitors against viewing? I'm so confused.

Sorry for the confusion, the site has a chatrooms. Sometimes people post links, I don't want to block all links, but I want people to be warned of bad sites.

Ah, sure, that makes sense. A bit of Javascript (I'd use jQuery actually cuz I love it so deeply) could intercept any link clicking and compare the href value to a theoretical list of URLs to warn against visiting... the real issue is where do you get that list of URLs from? You'll probably have more success following in the footsteps of those who go before you (Websense, Cyberpatrol, etc). From what I understand these products use a combination of specific URLs and keywords in the titles, headers, maybe even meta tags to decide which URLs to block. I don't know of any service you could tap into that has done this work for you (though it probably exists-- see if you can find one using a search engine).
