combobox elements going behind tabbedpane

Hey friends... need a small help
I am having a JComboBox in a JToolBar
this is in the north side of the contentPane
At the center of the content pane , there is a tabbedpane...

The problem is that the elements of the JComboBox go behind this jtabbedPane.... i want them always in front...
I really need a fast solution...
please help...
