Do you mean when booting into dos, or when opening a comand prompt/dos window?

http://www.bootdisk.com/readme.htm#cdromdos
for sparky
i meant when booting into dos, not when opening a dos-window in Windows.
what should if i format c: and i don't have ms-windows anymore?
i must install it from a cd-rom, but i can't use the cdrom under dos
thanks anyway
i'm very greateful to you

I know NT4/2000/XP and I think 98 lets you boot directly from the CD so you wouldn't need to use a boot disk.
well. i don't think will recognise the cd-rom bcs i have to configure it ... it's just like if you want to use a web-cam.. but you don't have one :)
thank anyway
