Hello,
My question is about the possibility of preloading SWF files. I am working on my portfolio site, and one of the things I want to do is have SWF flipbooks of some of my work popup in lightwindow. That is all working fine...but I was wondering if there is a way to preload the SWF files in the background (like you can using CSS for images, but I know that that method won't work for SWFs)?
There is a bit of delay on loading the SWFs and I would like to cut that down, and preloading is the only method I can think of, but I just don't know how to do it for SWF files.
My page is here (http://www.amydepalma.com/works/print/comm_promo/comm_promo.php). If you click on any of the flipbook links, you see that they are working fine, but there is about a 3-4 second delay on loading them (this is after the circle loading image goes away).
Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
