Dear,

Is it possible i send out email thru Win98 with only PWS installation? if cannot how to send email with ASP in Win 98???

use CDONTs or see if you can get something like ASP mail on PWS, it will be a sretch. I am not sure if that's possible but you could upgraged to win 2000.

CDONTS is an NT thing, not a 9x thing. I doubt PWS has built in support like IIS has. However there might be a 3rd party app that can do it. However considering your options, you'd probably just want to upgrade to Windows 2000 or XP.

Hi Ninja Turtle,

You don´t need to upgrade to Windows 2000 or XP to send email with asp. All you need is a free email component to do the job. I recommend you to download and install JMail from Dimac (http://www.dimac.net) . It´s free and you can send and receive email with it.
It´s much more easier to install this than to upgrade your OS.
