I am looking to recreate something like this:

I'm assuming it's possible with PHP? How would I go about this please? I'm very much a newbie to this so please try and make it nice and easy to understand :)

If you want a searchengine that runs on a MySQL db, then check out

deals with all the db-stuff but you still need to write the webfront.

I need something which does exactly what that site does. The way I see it I think I'd need to break it down into parts and then put all those parts together?

Which would be an upload part, a download part, a search part, a delete part...anything else?

I just need to be pointed towards a couple of sites that could help, or something like that. :thumbsup:

Hehe. That's what the title says, but it doesn't mean anything. Especially not in a MySQL forum :D Anyway, if you need to build a complete db-driven app, and your gonna use MySQL as a db, then it's best to browse around a bit on mysql.com
I go there every day. If you're going to use PHP, then be sure to check on www.php.net (there searchfunction always turns up with the right info !)
If you have punctual question about MySQL, just post them here.
