Is there any threshold of -ve reputation after which account is disabled?

No. Its the infractions that can get an account banned. Any negative reputation given by a user really has no effect on your account status. I think after 3 infractions within 2 months account is banned or something. WA (the admin) can clarify.

Correct that reputation doesn't affect any privileges on the forum. As far as the infractions, you get banned if you accumulate 20 points worth. Different infractions are worth different numbers of points and the points expire after 30 days. Warnings are all zero points.
