Catagories in Wordpress on front page $10

I want the main 50 catagories to appear on the front page of my website, along with 4 new posts in like a box format, can anyone help for $10? ;)

You'll need to use wp_list_categories. Info on the arguments you can pass can be found at

You'll want


orderby to be set to count
order to be set to DESC
number to be set to 50

That should achieve the content you want, then its just a case of formatting it

For the latest posts it's even simpler. There's examples in the codex

What do you mean by "box format"? Also did you want the 4 latest posts from each category or just the 4 latest posts period? I'm interested.

Just the 4 latest posts, that it, and I mean like have them in 2 columns
