how involved is it to make a flash/actionscript site?

after using a template will there be a lot of work in getting it to work online? hours?

Really depends what you want to do. if you just want to change the content of the template open the fla file and edit the textboxes (if thats were the content is stored i.e. not dynamically loaded from file). If you want to change the structure then be prepared for some deep coding!

From my experience Action Script 3 is very different from ActionScript 2 and its taking me a while to get used to it and ive previously done some basic AS2 coding as well as working as a developer. So like i said depends on the desired end product.
