Hello.

I am re-making a website for my school, and since I am not allowed to use ASP, and change the main concept of the design, I am going to have to get a new javascript nav bar.

I don't know javascript very well, and I don't know where to look for a new, easy to customize, nav bar, so I figured people in this forum will know.

Does anyone know of a good site that will allow me to get some sort of a nav bar that acts like the one at the top of this site (it's the grey one at the VERY top):
http://www.xara.com/products/webstyle/
(I found this site in my futile search for a free nav bar)

Thank you to anyone that helps me!

I've got one; it's loads better than that one, and it's free for non-commercial users - http://www.brothercake.com/dropdown/

The only real caveat is that the script files are comparitively large; but they do cache after first useage, so few people really notice a drag. If that is a problem you could try TopNav III (http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex1/topmen3/index.htm) at DD - it's basically the same script, but lighter (smaller, less flexible).

Thank you, I will try these out when I have time, later today, but before I go, and if these don't meet up to what I am looking for, (Easy to use), then I will have to look for something new.

The idea is that it has to be edited by someone that hardly knows html, because the school website I need to fix up with later be given to another student, and who knows how much javascript knowledge they will have.

So it needs to be easy to be understood by an editor just by reading some sort of a readme, that I will have to write up.

I am not nessacarly looking for anything big, nor fanscy... just a drop down nav bar that changes colour when you put your mouse over the links it has.

Thanks again.
