VPN problems yet again. So I got my VPN to work through my router. YAY. Problem now is that when I connect to the vpn site external addresses stop working. Under the config of my connection (from client) if I select "Use default gateway on remote network" I can't access web pages, but if I don't select it I can't access the computers on the remote network.
From what I gather, when it is checked, when trying to connect to a host it first checks the local network. If it isn't found it searches the vpn server's network. Problem is if it doesn't find it in either, it just gives up, when it should be trying to connect through the local gateway. Any ideas why?
Note: I have port forwarding enabled on the remote router, so the VPN connection is sent to vpn server.
I've attached an image of the layout of my current situation. Drawring is fun.
