HELP!?!?! Amateur here! (m)

I'm trying to put up an emoticon drop down menu on my forum, and I'm having a hard time.

Here's my site:

I want the emoticon drop down menu that is currently on the bottom of the page (just so it's out of the way while I'm working on it) to show only on the "post your message" page, and to have the URL for the emoticon to automatically pop into the text message section. (Please tell me this makes sense; I don't know how else to explain it!?) lol

So basically, how do I combine them so that I just have a drop down menu that only shows up on the "post your message" page, and inserts the emoticon into the text box upon clicking it?
