what can i do to make this image to not repeat itself but stretch in background?

Problem occurs when you zoom out enough times with ctrl+- in a browser on this page (http://users.rcn.com/**************/test70.html). It begins to repeat itself at the very bottom of the page. I'd like it to simply stretch instead. I've tried adding height: 100%; and width: 100%; to the body tag but I suppose another strategy is necessary.
