I found this shoutbox (http://www21.brinkster.com/aspplanetdotnet/code.asp), and was wondering how to install it on brinkster. I read the directions on the site, but couldnt get it to work. I was also wondering how i could put this shoutbox on a regular html page that i already have.

Well, it pretty much explains the process in the "blurb". Does your brinkster account allow databases, or does this shoutbox write to a text file?
Either way, please post the specific problem(s) you are having. If it helps, I have some shoutbox type apps I wrote that are pretty simple that write to a text file (instead of a database) that might be easier for you to implement.

Hey urs works great, except it keeps reloading and causing problems. I just noticed that my brinkster account doesn't support a database, so ill need to write to a txt file.

Me?
You type in the settings, and then you hit submit...
It will refresh the page, and you will get some code that is inside a textarea... Copy it and paste it on your website.. It uses iframes, so it has it's own page and does its own thing in there.
It's basic... Just play around with it at first...

Accually, if you see a problem or something with it, just e-mail me, and I will look to see if I can fix the problem or something...
Or if you think there should be some additions to it...
