problem with "layer" images (css?)

Ok well this is very hard to explain so best is that you check it out yourself and you will understand :

see the image that always stay on the bottom left of the screen ?

Well the problem is that the images on the page (like the forum icons) will be displayed OVER the image

I know the problem isn't comming from the "layer" image at the bottom left of the screen since i am also using it on http://www.pirate-punk.net and it works great

so i really have no idea where the damn problem comes from !!

And now i'm trying to use a javascript/css script to display popup windows when the mouse hovers a link and i have the same problem !!!

i've been having this problem since 3 months, i gave up but now i really need to fix it!!

Add a positive z-index to that image, like
a#inscrit {/*style.ph...4&lang=en (line 3750*/
z-index:10; /* a value of 1 is enough*/
..............
}
