which Antivirus on XP Professional ?

hello guys, I had recently installed Windows XP on my home machine and I want to know which Antivirus will be the best of it. previously I was using Norton 2002 for Windows98. Please consider the following things.
- Virus Definition download.
- Online Help/Information for newly born viruses.

I find AVG from Grisoft (http://grisoft.com) pretty good, however I've a feeling it eats resources. Otherwise you can't go wrong with Symantec/Norton stuff. The difference is that AVG is free and so are updates, with Symantec you need to buy then subscribe after a few months.

I've been using Norton AV for the past 6-7 years and am now using Norton AV 2003 professional edition on my WinXP machine. It's never allowed a virus to past it while i've used it.
