I've built a simple HTML/CSS website. In the footer is an unordered list of names floated next to each other in 7 columns. I would like the list to be updated across the pages throughout the entire website.

I made a template page with various editable regions and from that page I created a couple of pages. When I updated the list and saved it, the changes were not carried out on the HTML pages. Not sure why that didn't work.

Is it possible to save the list in an external document and simply update that external doc when will then be reflected in the individual pages? Links to tutorials on the subject would be greatly appreciated.

Hello forgottenglory,
Merry Christmas :)

It sounds like you're needing a php include. Lots to be found on google about that, I like this simple tutorial (http://www.tizag.com/phpT/include.php).

Hey Excavator!

Thanks for the tip! I will give it a shot and hopefully everything will work as intended!

A Merry Christmas to you too!
