Hi All -

Could use a little help here. Could someone please view the source code of the following pages and figure why I'm getting white lines / spaces where I am:

1. www.xdividend.info/index.html - Here, the white lines are towards the bottom on the left hand side.

2. www.xdividend.info/contact.html - Here, there are white lines on either side of the long dark line under the word "Contact" and again on the LHS and again on the bottom.

Well, apparently your shim.gif image isn’t transparent but white.

I’ll have to say that the way you coded your site is very, very outdated. Using tables for a page layout is a practice that’s like 12 years old and it’s very much frowned upon (http://www.hotdesign.com/seybold/) nowadays in times of semantic code (http://boagworld.com/technology/semantic-code-what-why-how), separation of content and presentation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Separation_of_presentation_and_content), and progressive enhancement (http://www.alistapart.com/articles/understandingprogressiveenhancement/).

I appreciate the help with the shim. Making it transparent was indeed the fix. Thank you!
