if you will have spaces in your class names then

#left content{}

then browser will accept it as two classes.

rest you dont have anything written in your body. no text.

<div id="left content header"></div>
<div id="left content"></div>
<div id="right content"></div>

This is wrong. An ID vlaue canít have spaces. Likewise, a CSS selector canít have spaces.
An element can have several class names like <div class="class1 class2 class3">(content)</div> but in the CSS they would still have to be addressed like .class1.class2 {Ö} or .class1.class3 {Ö} or .class2.class3 {Ö} or .class1.class2.class3 {Ö}

Hello newtocode,
Try being more specific, like this -
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<link href="css/defualt.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
<title>RCT3 Nation Data Base</title></head>
<body id="index">
<div id="wrapper">
<div id="header"><a href="index.html"><img src="images/Header.jpg" width="950" height="200" alt="header" /></a></div>
<div id="navigation"><center>
<a href="home.
and
#footer{
width: 950px;
height: 50px;
clear: both;
color: #FFF;
}
#lefttext h1 center {
font-size: 10px;
color: #FFF;
text-decoration: underline;
}
body#index #lefttext center p {
font-size: 12px;
text-decoration: none;
padding-left: 5px;
}

Now it will only affect the h1 on body#index.

I don't want effect H1 I want to effect prargraph tag to make that so it not underline like paragraph tag.

Here paragraph tag don't want underline and just leave h1 underline it text aside the image .

<p><img src="images/OsudennyCharlieBrownsAndDisneyChris.jpg" alt="setoc" width="115" height="115" align="left" />Here is Christmas osudenny new christmas <br />
set for 2009 this wounderfull classic cartoon <br />
charlie Brown &amp; Disney set for the holiday</p>

Oops, I'm sorry. I seem to have a very hard time translating your English.

newtocode
12-18-2009, 04:35 AM
sorry what i'm trying to doing is make it so my <h1> tag stay underline but the <p> tag it not underline just normal text with no decoration what so all.

this html code for <p> with out h1 tag.

so it would say Merry Christmas From Osudenny as H1 with a underline text decoration .

than it would just be normal text with out a under line text decoration for this paragraph below

Here is Christmas osudenny new christmas
set for 2009 this wounderfull classic cartoon
charlie Brown &amp; Disney set for the holiday

Click here for more info

Also all this text sit in same div name #lefttext and here what try css wise and still get under line for all text if put on h1 tag even if don't a under line decoration check in css #lefttex p css rule

I hope understand what try say no sorry speak english just got learning disability.

Taken from the code you quoted in your second post, the one that starts with "I ran in to another problem with"

<div id="lefttext">
<h1><center>
<h1>Merry Christmas From osudenny</h1>
<p><img src="images/OsudennyCharlieBrownsAndDisneyChris.jpg" alt="setoc" width="115" height="115" align="left" />Here is Christmas osudenny new christmas <br />
set for 2009 this wounderfull classic cartoon <br />
charlie Brown &amp; Disney set for the holiday</p>
<p>Click here for more info</p>
</center></h1>

You have the entire paragraph wrapped with in the h1 tags I've highlighted in red. I don't think that's even valid but that's why the paragraph is being styled with attributes that should only apply to your h1..
Remove those h1 tags, leave the <h1>Merry Christmas From osudenny</h1> alone, leave the p tags around the paragraph and add text-align:center; to #lefttext.

Hope that helps.
