Hello,
I have long thought of many ideas which I feel would be great for a website. For my most recent thought, I have now gone through two coders who have not been able to deliver on the needs of this website. It will essentially be a free social network site that will need to allow users to create profiles and search for other users. The basis of this whole site will be a calendar. I have many more details, and am willing to either pay a one time fee or sell a percentage of the company. PM me if you feel that you can create this, and what your requirements are.

Thanks,
JV

What is your profit model? If there is a value to the percentage of the business, what are your projections for net profit after 1 year, 2 years, 5 years?

These types of sites are often valuable in terms of buyouts due to user information gained (ie myspace at 300 million, fbook at over 1 billion, etc). In no way do I suggest numbers of that magnitude, but the ultimate goal would be to sell the site.
In the meantime, advertising would generate revenues which would help with upkeep. I have already created an LLC, purchased a domain and hosting, and the coder would not need to contribute to that. The initial two coders who attempted the project signed on for smaller dollar amounts, but I am also open to selling a portion of the llc and all revenues.

Yep... facebook, myspace, big money. How will you steal marketshare from them? Where's the business plan for that?
