If I apply any sort of positioning to the table such as absolute or relative everything adjusts at a different rate, and not relative to each other.

try this

<body style="margin:0px; padding:0px;">
<table style="width:100%; height: 662px; text-align:center;">

or otherway is to give fixed width to your main outer table

<body style="margin:0px; padding:0px;">

<table style="width:900px; height: 662px" align="center">

as you dont have much content so you can apply the second solution of fixed width.

try it and let me know

i used the second option and it now looks like what I had to start with (see page online).

Again, the intent is to have it move with the browser as you narrow or widen the page.

Also, it crunches up really badly when you narrow it too much.

Any ideas?

you have not updated the page online. i still see the old width:100%.

update it with this

<body style="margin:0px; padding:0px;">

<table style="width:900px; height: 662px" align="center">

keep the width of what ever width you designed the template.

sorry about that - your 900px suggestion does fix the crunching problem but I still need it to stay in the center of any browser at any browser width.

read my code carefully.

this is what you have pasted over there

<body style="margin: 0px; padding:0px;">

<table style="width: 900px; height: 662px; align: center">

and this is what i told you to paste. see the difference and copy it exactly what i pasted it and update it.

<body style="margin:0px; padding:0px;">

<table style="width:900px;height:662px;" align="center">
