Hi - I am using the tinyslideshow and need to be able to embed a wmv file into it. It needs to open within the slideshow as the thumbnail loads and when clicked just as the image does. I have not been able to figure this out or know if it is possible and any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks so much.

If you want to stream anything in web , the best way I know is flash. Converting your slideshow into flash is not a big thing. You can also convert wmv to swf or flv. You are also saying that it should open within slideshow. Use adobe flash cs4 . It can handle videos and embed it in a swf. If you just want to display your wmv , thats too simple. Convert it to flv using any online or offline tools. There are also wmv players available which is supported by "silverlight". But thats very new and may not be present in major no.s of computers
Here is the link for WMV player

Thanks for the info - I thought about converting to flash but my main problem is just incorporating into this slide show I am using.

When I try to incorporate the video, it does nothing at all which is frustrating! Again, I am not even sure it is possible but thought I would ask. I had seen other posts about this slide show here and was hoping!

There is also another java script solution for this. just convert your videos into flv and try to implement this http://www.webgurusdesignblog.com/2009/08/fancyplayer-jquery-fancybox-and-flowplayer-integration-tutorial/. Flow player can play both flv and mp4 files. I don't know exactly. But am sure what you need , can be done with this accompanied by some tweakings in js which you are using for slideshow. You can use thick box or light box for playing flv files alongwith some flv players such as flowplayer
