I been trying every thing that I can do to change my css code to make it become verifed but having a really hard time to get it to do so.

It was fine for the logest time but now I got to problems.

the code is as follows:

#bgfooter{
height:31px;
font-family:"Verdana";
font-size:10px;
text-align:center;
vertical-align:middle;
background:url(../Images/footer.gif) repeat-x bottom;}

The part that is not being verifed is :

background:url(../Images/footer.gif) repeat-x bottom;}

it seems to work fine but will not verify. This really bothers me.

my site is robinsden.co.cc All of my pages use this same css in them.

Thanks.

It won't validate, I think, because you've specified the vertical position of the background image but not the horizontal position. Browsers will (mostly) default it to "center" anyway which is why it looks OK.

Try:

#bgfooter{
height:31px;
font-family:"Verdana";
font-size:10px;
text-align:center;
vertical-align:middle;
background:url(../Images/footer.gif) repeat-x center bottom;}

The correct term is validate not verify.
According to W3C what you have should be valid but in order to make the validator say its valid you need to make it bottom left, bottom center, or bottom right.

#bgfooter{
height:31px;
font-family:"Verdana";
font-size:10px;
text-align:center;
vertical-align:middle;
background-image:url(../Images/footer.gif) repeat-x center bottom;}
