Dear all,
Recently I started learning VBA. I need it for developping applications interacting with Microsoft Access components. Currently I don't know anything about ASP (nor ASP .NET) but I may have to develop a web application with an Access database. Is it possible to develop ASP (or ASP.net) with VBA or it works only with VB and C#? In the case where it is possible to develop a web application with VBA and ASP I would appreciate if you could kindly suggest any good book about ASP.
Thanks in advance,
Kind Regards,
Dariyoosh

Hey dairyoosh,
1. It doesn't really make sense what you're asking because VBA(Visual Basic for Applications) is really a "branch" of Visual Basic. Take a look at this article, which I think will give you a better idea: http://www.natecsystems.com/98%20Sep-Oct%20VBA%20vs%20Visual%20Basic.html
2. The Visual Basic language is used in both classic ASP and ASP.NET environments
3. Think of VBA as being something that you do on the client-side. For example, you have an Excel sheet and you use VBA to write a macro
which colors all the cells in the top row or something like that.

Mike

Dear Mike,
Thanks for your answer to my question. As I said I've just start learning VBA so there are many concepts that are not enough clear for me, that's why my question sounds strange! But thanks to your remark it's more clear now.
Thanks a lot
Kind Regards,
