Laptop help!!!

Hey everyone,
I need some help, I am concidering buying a laptop but don't know which to choose. I was comfronted by many offers but these 2 stood out:

A practically new ibook by macintosh for $500.00
or
Toshiba 4060 CDT, P-II 333, 192MB RAM, 6GB HDD, 14.1" Screen,
DVD-CD, 56k Fax/Modem, Win98SE, Sound, Video, Power Adapter/cord, Targus
Case. $460.00

Please help me!!!

Hey guy, welcome to the forums. :)

In your case, a better thread title would be something pertaining to buying a laptop so that viewers know whether or not they can even contribute to the thread (your post/question).

Ranting aside, if the ibook is really close to new, then it would have better specs (assuming there both pretty standard), making it the better choice, right?

Whats the word on that ibook?
I prefer windows *shrug*

I dont know if I would shell out $460 for the Toshiba.
