I have to enter my wireless password everytime I use the internet. Previously This was not necessary. How can I get the computer to store this. Windows 7 Professional.
EDIT: I have bought two Windows 7 packs. Both of them NOT as upgrades.
When using the RC1 betas, I had no problem with this issue, but since installing the retail versions, I cannot get the wireless password to stick. I have to enter it in everytime I need the internet.
Both computers have had Clean installs. Any help gratefully received.

Check your wireless properties to ensure that your password is entered correctly under the Security tab and that Connect automatically when... under Connection is checked.

Are you speaking of Windows 7?
I cannot find anywhere there to enter any password. in Security.

Sorry, meant "Network Security Key" and not password. And yes, I'm using Windows 7, the upgrade version though I don't think that matters but don't hold me onto that :P
I found your previous post regarding network passwords (http://codingforums.com/showthread.php?t=181272) and quoting _Aerospace_Eng_:
In the future if you right click on the wireless icon in your taskbar by the clock and go to Open Network and Sharing Center and then click on Manage Wireless Networks on the left. Here you will see all of the networks that you have connected too. Right click on any connection and go properties. You will have a security tab that shows the security details of the network including the password. Click the box to show characters and there you go.

Thanks for the reply, but when I do as said, I get a panel up which shows no networks at all, so none to click on.
I have been trying to sort this out for four days now and with no success. If I enter the password manually, everything works OK until I re-boot. Then it's back to square one.
I have just bought the book "Windows 7 Inside Out." No help at all so far.
With help from the forum, hopefully, persistence will pay off.

I'm assuming that means you never got to the panel from my screenshot?
As per my previous post and referring to _Aerospace_Eng_'s quote, instead of right clicking on the wireless icon on the taskbar, do a left-click and you should see a list of nearby networks that you can select. Mouse over your network, right-click and choose properties. It should take you to the window image I posted on my previous reply.

When I do that, I get the list of networks. Right clicking just gives me the option to connect. No Properties in sight.
I think I shall have to do a clean instal again. At present I am just going round in circles.
Thanks for your help.

A clean re-instal has put things right. Must have been a corruption somewhere.
The book that I bought is very good too.
