Copy iTunes Library from one device to another

Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to transfer, or copy, an iTunes library from one device to another?

The one notable issue in what I am trying to do is that the mp3 files in the library on my iPod Nano has been physically deleted from the hard disk. Although, it still plays on the Nano as you'd expect, the files are no longer on the hard disk to play.

What I am looking to do is transfer the mp3 files from the Nano to an iPhone.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Copy the iTunes_Control folder on your iPod (it is a hidden folder by default so you'll have to enable it in Explorer) and add it to your iTunes library. Make sure you let iTunes copy, sort & rename it automatically, because the database your iPod uses is different to the file structure on your computer.
