Easy way to color code? Or no?

I'm new around here, and I've been starting to respond to others' problems. I see a lot of nicely color-coded responses. I'm curious if you're all taking time to manually color each word/phrase of your codes or something similar.

When I've used the [..code..] and [../..code..] tags here, mine comes out black & white.
