If forum games are not allowed, I'm extremely sorry, go ahead and delete this thread (please don't ban me). But I thought it would be fun, among geeks, to do a coding language forum game. Here's pretty much how it works: you form "attacks" or "blocks" using commands from different coding languages, anywhere from BASIC to PHP. With each post, post your current HP (you start with 500, but when you get to zero you can start over), an attack or defense, and what its affect is. For example:
HP: 500
Throws a <style> tag at opponent. Opponent is blinded by my amazing style. -10HP.
Then whoever wants to reply would say:
HP: 490
Uses catch() to grab opponent and throw on the ground. -20HP.
It can be silly or whatever, as long as the "code" is actual "code." I think this could be fun, so I'll start out.
HP: 500
Sends out a PHP echo. The sound waves harm anyone in a 5 mile radius. -10HP.
