Hi
I'm very new to ASP.NET so am using a book called Beginning ASP.NET in VB2008 from novice to professional. The book comes with pre-created files to help me learn which is great but for one folder of files Visual studio states that there are no files even though I know there is a png file, an aspx page and a vb page plus a web page.

Anyone have any idea why I cant open this? I've tried opening as a project and as a web site, neither works. I can open the individual documents within the folder using vusual studio but vusual studio wont run a debug on them that way for me to see the web page in question in action.

Would appreciate any suggestions as to what the problem may be.
Thanks:confused:

Did you download the code from the company website? I'd try downloading it again and unzipping it and see if that does anything for you. It's possible that the reason why you're having a problem is that one or more files could be corrupted.

After doing that, if you still have the same problem, let me know which book code you're trying to open. I can download it from the website and try it myself and see what it does for me, and then let you know what happens.

Hope this helps.
