Camel_Booter,

please read the posting guidelines on descriptive subjects ("Help" doesn't describe anything), and check out this thread (http://www.codingforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=11381&highlight=open+two+pages+at+once) in the javascript forum for an answer to your question.

That's ok, but it's for your own sake as well; a descriptive subject may encourage more members that potentially can help you to read your question, and may prevent those that can't or won't from reading it superfluously.

Having a post title like he/she does makes me want to read it .. just so I can say what you did though .. hehe, specially if it's in my forum like it is now. :)

It has the opposite effect on me - I usually ignore threads that don't have a meaningful title.

I'm attracted to posts with this sort of title like a moth to a bug zapper.

The biggest reason for descriptive subjects is for searching purposes. If you search the forums for a keyword and you get a bunch of results with subjects like:

"Help"
"Im a newbie"
"Urgent"

you have to open each one up just to see if it is what you were looking for. When you have 50 results that can be time consuming.
