I've been trying to code this image for about two days now using a wide array of codes I put together myself and codes I found online, but nothing is working at all. I've coded a layout like this before and I don't know why I can't get it to work this time =/ So if anyone has any advice, I would really really appreciate it!

The image is here: http://i35.tinypic.com/qzlr3q.png

What I'm trying to do is center the image in the browser and have the links on the bottom of the image be the image map for the frames to load in the box. I think I'm just making it more difficult than it should be but I'm not having any luck...

Hello lookanasterisk,
Have a look at this code and see if it gets you started. The menu is down there and fairly positioned over the text, it just needs a rollover affect added to it.

<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8" />
<title>Untitled Document</title>
<style type="text/css">
html, body {
font: 100.1% "Comic Sans MS";
background: #000;
}
* {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
border: 0;
outline: 0;
}
#container {
height: 600px;
width: 900px;
margin: 30px auto;
background: #000 url(http://i35.tinypic.com/qzlr3q.png) no-repeat;
font-size: 0.8em;
}
ul#menu {
position: absolute;
top: 594px;
height: 30px;
list-style: none;
}
#menu li{display:inline;}
#menu li a{
height: 30px;
float: left;
display: block;
}
#menu li span {display:none;}
#home {width: 134px;}
#men {width: 107px;}
#women {width: 168px;}
#discovered {width: 360px;}
#blog {width: 120px;}
</style>
</head>
<body>
<div id="container">
<ul id="menu">
<li><a href="#" title="home" id="home"><span>Home</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#" title="Men" id="men"><span>Men</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#" title="Women" id="women"><span>Women</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#" title="Be Discovered" id="discovered"><span>Be Discovered</span></a></li>
<li><a href="#" title="Blog" id="blog"><span>Blog</span></a></li>
</ul>
<!--end container--></div>
</body>
</html>

Check out this css rollover method (http://nopeople.com/CSS/css%20rollover%20navbar%20with%20single%20image/index.html). It would only take a little photoshopping to do and would work well for you.
This is the image (http://nopeople.com/CSS/css%20rollover%20navbar%20with%20single%20image/graphics/navbar.gif)used to make that menu.
