JPG not showing up in web page

Does anyone have any suggestions to this problem?

I am just started to do free-lance web work. One of my clients gave me a cd with her artwork on it. It was in Photoshop. I have Photoshop v.7. I could open it and resave the images as a jpg on my machine. But when I went in to Dreamweaver and added them in my page it would always come up with a broken link. The path is correct because I used the add Image property in Dreamweaver.

Also, I discovered that when I went to save the image. It only allowed me a limited number of formats to save it as: Photoshop, Photoshop EPS, Photoshop DCS 1.0, Photoshop DCS 2.0, JPEG, Photoshop PDF, Raw, Scitex, or Tiff

Any suggestions?

check the location of the picture file, and the properties to make sure of the extension.
you can hardcode this into your html document.

<img src="C:\Location\Of\File.jpg" alt="" />

This doesnt sound like a Photoshop problem, just a matter of displaying your image, so long as you have actually saved it as an image file. :D

First, Using photoshop 7 and to save files for the web usually I would use save for web option which allows you to optomise in both gif and jpg format. In this area it allows you to be able to reduce file size down for web.

Usually if files are not showing up on the web it can be a case of a)having not uploaded all the files to the web that needed to be, or B)having moved files into a different place.
