Magento ecommerece - need to hide the show per page

Hi has anyone used Magento shopping cart? I need to hide the top and bottom bars that say how many items in the category and show how many per page!

in this file find this code: <?php echo $this->getToolbarHtml() ?>

this code used twice in this file remove it , i think your problem will be solved
