Howdy,

Does anyone know of a script or software (preferrably free) that helps you make a site map for your web?

Is there such a thing that will 'read' your site, extract titles and give you links to those pages all in a site map type configuration?

Thanks!

Phil

Well, Imagemapic is a tiny, free program that you might want to have a look at.

I downloaded that program but I don't understand it. It asks me which image file I want to open and then it opens it and then gives me this script down the bottom. When I try and highlight it and copy it it won't let me.

I don't know what it is for anyway. How does this program help me build a web site map?

Thanks!

Phil

Oops...:D. For some reason, the first time I read your post I thought you were trying to make an Imagemap as opposed to a site map (which I believe you'll need to do manually)...sorry.

Ok, I don't happen to know of any programs that will "read your site" and generate a site map for you. If you're looking for site navigation, there are some nice navigation scripts here for starters:

ExactMapper will do it

If it doesnt' suit, go to download.com or zdnet and do a search for site maps. There's a few other options available, but this one is free (if inelegant).

Cheers
