There's 1 px of white space that's appears on the left side of the gray "Customer Service" .content table. It's appearing in between the sidebar and that gray .content table. Any idea where it's coming from and how to remove it? I tried I removed all padding & margins from that area...

http://americanchic.net/style.css, line 92

div.sidebar {
border-right:1px solid #999999;
float:left;
margin:0;
padding:0;
width:154px;
}

become:

width:155px;

you use float left and right for divs and therefor is a gap between them so you must ajust the size.

Right. Thanks. The warnings and errors all seem to be related to scripts and on the page - code that I didn't make up myself. They're either referencing code from my Google search form or the script code that Yahoo! Webhosting inserts automatically to every one of my pages once it's uploaded to the server (I can't control that).

But I can control the Google search code. I had given up trying to understand what the warnings meant. Maybe you can help me. All of the warnings point to a error:

Line 73, Column 78: NET-enabling start-tag requires SHORTTAG YES
e="008492265635118422334:n-b74s508xa" />

What does that mean and how do I fix it?

you use html 4.01 transitional doctype, you must remove '/' from the end of the mpty elements.

<input type="hidden" name="cof" value="FORID:9" />

must be:

<input type="hidden" name="cof" value="FORID:9" >

best regards
