So I am starting a reseller, ( not yet sure with what company, you guys can suggest something to me if you want )

The way I will be selling web hosting through my reseller is because I have many small websites which I know I can sell a couple a week. Included in this price would be an agreement that they have to stay with my web hosting company for 1 year. So should I bill them upfront for 1 year, ( which may lose a couple clients ) or should I bill them monthly?

My question is, what happens if we have that agreement, and a couple months in they just decide to stop paying? How can I collect payment? I would really love to offer monthly billing, but am afraid I may run into this sort of problem.

Thanks!

Always up front ... a year ahead.
Just about all webhosting plans are like that now.

You didn't say how much a month, but I assume it's in line with everyone else?

I'm thinking $9.99 a month or so.... A bit pricey I know, but I think it will be fine because they don't really have a choice since I require them to stay on my hosting if they want the domain and support etc.

Just one quick question, I will definitely do my homework and research a lot more, but if I sign up for a reseller program for $6.00 a month with 350GB of space, that doesn't mean they will charge me $6.00 for everyone that I sign up right? That just means I can have unlimited accounts as long as it stays within 350gb, and each account needs to purchase a seperate domain name right?
