Hi

I am working on a redesign for my site and am really keen to stop using tables for the layout and start using CSS more.

I am not at all sure where to start for the following kind of layout...

http://www.ghostrecon.net/images/css.png

The rows are popluated from a database with an image first, then a box that has a text title in the top and a description in the bottom. The top and bottom text boxes have different bg colours, (or maybe even an image bg.)

Can someone get me started with this, any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks.

Some things are meant to be used in tables and this can be one of them but you can look at it and also say it's a list. So you can make it an unorder list of titles:
<ul>
<li><img src="1">title1<p>Info1</p></li>
<li>etc</li>
</ul>

I agree that this is one occasion where tables are perfectly acceptable. Indeed, I use tables for a basically, identical layout
