Hey everyone,

I currently have Bluehost, but I'm looking to switch over to a dedicated server since the sites I manage are getting bigger and need more speed and stuff. I picked out a good dedicated server, but I was wondering if any of you have some tips I could use about the process in general. I'm mostly concerned with how long they say it takes for them to transfer over the data itself and how I should set it up so that my visitors know what's going to happen.

I'm also concerned with whether or not my sites being down for a long time will affect me with Google and other search engines. Any tips you can share with me?

First of all backup whole of your website content (html, php, mysql database) to your PC, you may also check review of top ten web hosts at website like http://aplis.net/ .

Or you can pay little more to upgrade your current hosting account at bluehost.

that's the frustrating part. bluehost doesn't have any dedicated servers.
