Streamline.net - opinions/UK based hosting recommendations

I use Streamline for three separate websites which I administer, and in more than three years have had no problems worth mentioning.

However, I've just read a few reviews on reviewcentre.com and elsewhere and am now feeling rather uncomfortable, as (almost) everyone else seems to have horror stories - a lot about billing, but also about excessive downtime, poor response times, deleted databases, you name it....:eek:

So, anyone else have a view on them?
And, just so I've got something in my back pocket, anyone have any recommendations for a good UK-based web host. I've no intention of shifting just because of some bad reviews, but would rather be prepared in case of disaster....

If you've had no problem...

Take regular backups. If you're happy with your host, there's no reason to change.

Hosting website business is getting rather competitive hence for getting more and more profit webhost try to cut-down their expenditure by using old crap hardware ;) lol
Well, i will advice you to post your hosting requirements at few other hosting forums like WHT , FWSor at DP where you would get better and reliable answers from webmasters as most of them are from webhosting niche !!

PS :- Hosting reviews sites should not be taken so seriously, most of them are paid reviews :D
