Make your document semantic (http://boagworld.com/technology/semantic-code-what-why-how) and let the search engines follow your page rather than following search engines. After that you may submit your site to the search engines using the "web master tools" provided by them.

Give us the URL to your site so we can see it.
Maybe we have some good ideas for you.

You can also bookmark you website once. Get backlinks from free High PR sites like Big Google which a PR 9 or 10 I think. you backlinks can really give the push you site needs. I don't know of nay magic formula though.

Thanks

Blog! One of the biggest secrets i learned from experience, is to blog and link to your site as well as other big links. Like youtube, or yahoo. Just a suggestion.

for google, link to your site, everywhere.

personally, i don't really care about traffic; i don't sell anything or need to feel loved by strangers.I've never promoted my site in anyway, or spent any money on it at all.

I typically get about 5-10,000 unique views a month, not a ton, but above the bot noise to be sure.
i have noticed that ~25% of my hits are links from my signature below, one of the few places i've ever publicly linked to it.

My point is that just by passively linking from or or two sites, i've evidently driven a bit of traffic to my site. I'm sure that if i did the same kind of thing elsewhere, i would get more hits. link to your site in blog/news comments, forums, and anywhere else that lets you publish an <a> tag for free.

also, use unique descriptions for each page. google likes to be able to steer your intra-site traffic. You will get more clicks, and eventually, as a result, better placement.
