i have a problem accessing mysql server on my LAN: i can access it locally but not from other machine.
The error is: Lost connection to mysql server during query.

I've disabled the firewall but it's still not working.
What i don't know is if i set the users correctly...

Any ideas??

Have tried almost everything, but can''t connect.

Is it a port issue?
I have allowed a user named root from my local PC to access all databases, with all privileges, but still nothing.
