I am going to build a site with the following requirements, and I am hoping for a cms type system that will suit.

Main requirement is to, as admin, create a page template with a number of fields, eg cost, timeframe, description, images etc that users will use when submitting an article. Most cms's seem to only have one description field, but I want to specify fields so the user's that add articles add the correct information, and fields can be searched separately.

I then want to be able to set how the fields are displayed once the articles have been submitted - this should be standard I guess if the previous feature is included.

That is my main requirement, I think anything I need is pretty standard.

The only system I have found so far that allows this, is Drupal, but I am not really a fan, I don't really like the way things are done in it.

Cheers, Mark.

Most of professional CMS will do what you want.

Check out below CMS

PHP: Drupal (http://www.drupal.org)
ASP.NET: Kooboo cms (http://www.kooboo.com)
Others: Plone (http://www.plone.org)

Just my two cents,

I been using Wordpress for my sites. But I've heard Joomla to be really popular and easy to use. Check it out.
