Yep,
You sign up for services where the site visitors have to click your ad links.

If your site is popular enough, you can get people to pay you to simply
post an ad banner of theirs on your site ... but you have to be a major website.
Unless you invent a new "FaceBook" successful website, probably won't happen.

I don't think you could make big fortune via adsense if your alexa is bigger than 30,000. And, if your alexa is good enough why not just sell some products on the site directly. :)
